Where Craft Meets Culture
Our studio is a place where tradition bends but never breaks. As the first of its kind in Morocco, it blends the timeless art of Berber weaving with modern design thinking and ethical values.
This is more than a weaving space — it’s a living, breathing creative hub. From the buzzing floor of our artisan looms and in-house washing facilities to our contemporary design studio, showroom, and Milanese-inspired espresso bar, Cooperative Adrar is built for full-circle craftsmanship and thoughtful hospitality.
Every rug begins and ends here — a complete ecosystem of creativity rooted in heritage, made for modern living.
Our Story
Founded in 2014, Cooperative Adrar began with a simple mission: to support artisans and preserve the heritage of Moroccan rug-making — not by changing tradition, but by strengthening it.
In a craft that is often practiced in isolation, we created a space of connection, support, and real opportunity for women in the High Atlas Mountains — helping them weave a better future, one knot at a time.
What started as a grassroots initiative has grown organically, staying rooted in integrity while promoting slow, handmade, and meaningful craftsmanship.
